On February 18, the Walden XC Fitness Club, in Naughton Ontario, and Brenda Parks, a  teacher  from the Rainbow District School Board worked collaboratively  organizing a Racing Rocks Event. Seventy-Five Students from 6 different schools participated in the all day Racing Rocks Event.

Students were divided into 8 different groups and rotated around 8 different ski stations.  The stations were very creative.  There was Team Handball,  Parachute games, 2 Person Mush Relay, Crack the Whip, Luge, Clothespin Tag, Sprints.

Students enjoyed rotating between the different ski stations and liked the variety of games.   The most popular activity of the day was the Obstacle Course in the afternoon.

Students were delighted to receive and wear their CCC Ski Buffs that day.

Some comments from students that participated; "The spiderweb at the obstacle course was fun"

"Are you going to do this again next year?"

    "This was a fun day!"
