Cross Country Canada would like to welcome Krista Landriault in her new role as Coaching Development Coordinator.  Krista will be working with her predecessor, Andrea Smith, over the next couple of months to make the transition as smooth as possible.  Both Coordinators will be available to contact throughout this process, before Andrea embarks on a new journey.

Krista was born and raised in Sudbury, Ontario.  She grew up playing a multitude of sports, but was not introduced to cross-country skiing until High School.  It was at this time that a passion for the sport developed through the inspiration of her coach, Patti Kitler.  Krista competed with Cross Country Ontario’s Development Team, and later continued her involvement in skiing by coaching at her local club.

Following her love of sports, Krista completed an Honours BA of Sport and Physical Education at Laurentian University in Sudbury, and her Bachelor of Education at the University of Toronto.  To complement this Education, Krista is an L2T Facilitator for cross-country skiing in the National Coaching Certification Program.  She enjoys all aspects of sport and physical fitness and welcomes the opportunity to be introduced to new adventures!
