Well the weather is changing on the west coast.  The winter rain has started and if you are a “Wet Coaster” that means that you start to watch the mountain tops.  On days like today when you can’t see if there are mountains on the North Shore you fire up Google and check all the webcams.  It is too warm for Hollyburn Nordic to have any and their camera proves that to be correct.  There was rumour on the radio that Whistler may have had snow!  Whistler Olympic Park’s camera only shows some really nicely paved trails in the stadium and a dump truck.  Mount Washington, nope just a wet looking ski lift and well used mountain bike trails.  Maybe I should try Sovereign Lakes…. WAHOO!!!! SNOW! THERE IS SNOW AT SOVEREIGN LAKES!!  Ok settle down there is not enough to ski on yet but, it is a start.  Fall used to be crunchy leaves, cool mornings, winds off the water, my favorite season  This year it is about webcams and watching for snow at home and patiently waiting for winter my newest favorite season to return.
