In order to facilitate data entry and in order to adhere to the Coaching Association of Canada’s (CAC) Privacy Policy, CAC is requesting that effective April 1, 2005, all delivery agencies begin using the new NCCP Registration Form that was developed last year. The new form addresses a number of issues that the old NCCP Course Register Form does not. The new NCCP Registration Form:

–        articulates CAC’s Privacy Policy (which we are required to do prior to collecting personal information)

–        is coded for Database tracking with a sequential number which is essential for all partners in order to track their coaches

–        collects additional information relevant to communicating with coaches and for market research (e-mail addresses, Aboriginal, RCMP, etc.)

–        tracks information about both the old NCCP courses as well as the new NCCP contexts (e.g. Competition – Introduction Part A)

Delivery agencies still using old NCCP Course Register Forms:

In order to assist those delivery agencies that are still using old NCCP Course Register Forms, CAC will provide new forms to replace the old NCCP forms at no charge. Please contact Claire Severa at csevera@coach.ca to exchange your old forms for new ones.

Delivery agencies that are using an electronic form (or that would prefer to use an electronic form):

For those delivery agencies that are currently using or would prefer to use an electronic form to submit their workshop information, we are in the process of developing an official NCCP Electronic Registration Form that will be available to all delivery agencies in April 2005. There will be no cost to using the approved NCCP Electronic Registration Form.

For those delivery agencies that need to purchase the new NCCP Registration Forms, please contact Claire Severa at csevera@coach.ca. A bundle of 100 forms costs $50 plus shipping. The forms are priced for cost-recovery.
