Thank you for considering a donation to Cross Country Canada.  Your support will help us develop and sustain the many programs it takes to produce an Olympic medallist.

In recent years, Cross Country Canada has increasingly looked to internal fund-raising initiatives to enhance our program delivery.  These self help initiatives provide the opportunity for individuals to make donations to the Association in return for modest recognition benefits such as tax receipts and cross-country skiing gifts. 

Secure the Future

The Secure the Future Program was introduced in the late 90s to ensure the continued support and development of our Junior and Senior Teams.  An incentive program has been enhanced to recognize contributions big or small, with proceeds earmarked for National Team development and the delivery of our "Podium 2010 Plan".

Pierre Harvey, one of Canada's most successful international skiers, commented, "Athletes work and train hard but support is needed for equipment, coaching, education, sport science and competition costs. Your donation will be greatly appreciated".

Project Podium Calendars

Cross Country Canada has also been the beneficiary of the creative and ambitious "can do" attitude of our National Ski Team members.  In 2001, the Senior Women's Team undertook to develop a calendar fund-raising initiative.  This highly successful venture led to the creation of Project Podium 2003, a calendar which featured high resolution photographs of Nordic skiing at its best.  All sales went directly to supporting the high performance programs of Cross Country Canada.

In recognition of the enthusiastic reception that the 2001 and 2003 calendar projects received, CCC has decided to produce a calendar annually, under the banner Project Podium.  This fundraising initiative will be designed to offer both individual purchases and group buys, with the latter providing significant price reductions so that CCC clubs can market the calendars as a local fund-raiser.  To view and order your calendar or calendars, click on Project Podium.
