    DEVELOPMENT CONSIDERATION

Considering the recruitment nature of the Para-Nordic development program and the limited number of race starts for PN athletes in Canada, a decision was made by the Director of High Performance and the Assistant Director HP (PN) to add one development athlete to this trip based on the limited amount of development funding available. Sébastien Fortier was nominated for this opportunity based on having the top development result at the IPC World Cup events in the USA IPC World Cup events January 2012.
