National Ski Team Background
Graeme is among a new generation of cross-country skiers ready to make their mark on the elite international race scene. Graeme put down a stellar qualifying race to earn a spot on Canada’s 2014 Olympic Winter Games Team where he made his childhood dream official in Sochi, Russia. Now making his ninth appearance on the National Senior Team, Graeme joined the national program in 2007 as a member of the junior squad as focused on getting back to the Olympic Winter Games this year in Pyeongchang, Korea.

Introduction to Cross-Country Skiing
Graeme began skiing in the Jackrabbit program at Ptarmigan Nordic at the age of four. At first he couldn’t stand freezing his hands and feet every weekend during the northern winters, but as he learned the technique and was introduced to racing, Graeme quickly fell in love with the sport.
