    • Frozen Thunder 2016 Preview!

      November 4, 2016

Take a look at what it's like to ski on Frozen Thunder - a snow conservation project that enables the creation of approximately 2km of xc ski terrain in October to give Canada's athletes an edge on their competitors, and for everyone to enjoy gliding on skinny skis as early as possible! If you haven't tried it yet, make sure you plan to visit us next October to extend your season!

Frozen Thunder wouldn't be possible without its many contributors! Thank you to WinSport Canada, Canmore Nordic Centre, Cross Country Ski de fond Canada, Biathlon Canada, Biathlon Alberta, Alberta World Cup Academy & Own The Podium!

This is a first preview of the very cool frozen thunder trail with a walk through commentary,  thanks to Russell Kennedy of Canmore Nordic Ski Club!
