Marit Bjoergen of Norway won her 2nd gold medal of the games and Brooke Gosling was the lone Canadian representative in the women's World Championship 15k pursuit race.

    FIS Report
Unbeatable Marit Bjoergen was unstoppable today and clearly won 15 km Pursuit.

In the last uphill Marit Bjoergen attacked and neither Justyna Kowalczyk nor Therese Johaug could follow the Cross-Country skiing queen. Kowalczyk was trying hard to close the gap on Bjoergen but the gold medalist from sprint free was too strong.

Marit Bjoergen could enjoy the last hundreds of meters on the stadium without pressure and secured for herself second Gold medal from the World Championships in Oslo. Justyna Kowalczyk brought to Poland silver. Norwegian success was rounded off by Therese Johaug who claimed bronze medal.

Brooke Gosling finished 51st. The US had a strong day with 3 skiers in the top 30.
